I am a born again Christian serving the Lord Jesus Christ in my church. My life's goal is to please and serve Him.  His mercy and blessings that He gives me are totally undeserved, but I am very grateful to Him. My goal on Hubpages is to share the good news of Christ and to help people understand the Bible (not that I am a scholar or anything:)  He is the only way to get Heaven.  Believe that He died and rose again for you!!

John 3:16  "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

The plan of salvation is simple.....

1. Realize you're a sinner

Romans 3:23 "For all have sinner, and come short of the glory of God."  Everyone of us is a sinner.......God is not please with sin.  All of have sinned.

1 John 1:8  "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourslves, and the truth is not in us."

We all have sinned.  All of us are sinners.

2.  Realize there is a penalty for your sin

Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death: but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our    Lord."            Everyone deserves the torments of Hell.  Hell is a real place where there is "weeping and gnashing of teeth"  where the "fire is not quenched". 

3. Realize that Jesus paid your penalty

Romans 5:8  "But God commendeth His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us."  God sent His only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for you and save you from your sins.  You must accept HIs work on the cross though.

4.  Repent of your sin and receive Jesus as your Saviour.

Romans 10:13 "For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."

1 John 1:9  "If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness."

To receive Christ as your Savious, you must confess your sins to God and ask His forgiveness.  You must trust in Him ALONE........it's not trusting in Christ and our good works.  The Bible says that our good works are "as filthy rags".

  One you ask Christ to forgive you of your sin, and you confess it, you must FORSAKE it........you cannot go back to your sinful lifestyle. Many people think the "Christian Life" of separation from the world is laughable and a waste of time, but it is not.  When you think of all that Christ has done for you, the love you have for Him is much!  What can you do but serve the One Who set you free from sin?  I would never trade this life for anything.  The blessings and the care that He gives are more then wonderful.  Please do not wait until it is too late.......please accept Christ today and make Him your Lord and Saviour!  You will never regret it!!!!!!
